Rooted & Rising

As yu di Korsou and fellow Antianos, we carry patterns inherited from a hard history—patterns that once helped our people survive, but today quietly hold us back. Rooted & Rising walks you through six of them, one by one: vacant self-worth, silence and stigma, fragmented identity, fear-based authority, crab-in-bucket rivalry, and waiting for permission instead of acting. You'll move deliberately from the inside out—I am enough → I know who I am → I can speak → I can hold my ground → I can rise with others → I can build the future.

Led by Gillord and Luuk, the course pairs honest cultural storytelling with practical tools, real exercises, and interviews with Antianans who have broken these same patterns in their own lives. Module by module, you'll learn to turn your heritage from a source of shame into a source of strength—building the self-worth, voice, boundaries, and agency you need to thrive both at home and out in the world.

As a graduate, you'll be invited into the Pionero talent pool, where diaspora collaboration channels projects, skills, and opportunities straight back to people like you—so the growth you've done for yourself becomes momentum for Curaçao.
